yeah it blows i miss my friends so fucking much. it's hard the first time. it's hard every time you see a new part of the city. it should be way better when you get back. they really have done a lot already. it's not so much the distruction that gets to me. it's the stuff that doesn't make sense like the busses crashed all over the bywater. driving by the convention center makes me want to puke even though when you look at it you'd never know that anything out of the ordinary happened there.

you're sweet. the neighborhood is a big loss. and the community in general. there are strangers that I miss. I am lucky that I have of my best friends and her super resourceful girlfriend here. They gave us mad hook ups with job, housing, clothes, supplies, plus weekly beveraging sessions at a NOLA pace (they are from there.) Miami is really not the place for warm and fuzzies, though some people have been sweet. Everyone is just so busy and their attention span is zip. They run out of sympathy before I finish my first sentence. Plus, its expensive as hell here. For all this we could be living in LA.
