They're not gone - Mexico has a large native population. Many more folks are Spanish/native. But still, the Mayan, Incan and others are alive and preserving their culture. It's not just the Mayans that hold this theory. China, India Native Americans all have lore surrounding this date. Not to be all oogdy & scary but it is kind of interesting. Could be a change for the better. A new beginning kind of event. Who knows? Maybe nothing?
