Girls night out !! My Girlfriend and me are planning on going out tonight and doing up the town. Question for everyone, we are new to the area and were thinking about going to some strip clubs then back home to ring in the new year. Any suggestions for women friendly clubs

Strip Clubs? Really? I may regret this, but here goes... There are so, SO many amazing musicians playing tonight, and so many fun things going on in PDX, I can't imagine any of the strip clubs here even coming close. OK, I know everyone has their own idea of fun, and I personally find strip clubs incredibly depressing - but I submit to you that an evening of live local music and good food - both of which this fair city has in abundance - might be more satisfying ways for you to ring in 2009. Hell, you can get both in one building at the Doug Fir, and even rent a hotel room at the Jupiter - and if you still crave strippers, Union Jack's is just down Burnside. Check out the NYE event listings at JustOut, or the Portland Mercury. PS - Just so you know, this forum is international - I just happen to be one of the handful of PDX posters. So you might try the local PDX ads for more appropriate local intel.

My stripper friend would love the business right about now. The economy is killing her income. Even she is smart enough to stay home tonight, we will be hanging with her tonight inside with just a few good friends.
